Bollocks. Its their livelihood and I think Roeder has made it perfectly clear that you need to perfrom to stay in.
Players can't jsut walk into clubs anymore, bosman changed all that. There will be hundreds of palyers out of contract in the summer, precious precious few are there by design, and when they are its cause they KNOW they have something lined up.
Those coming up to the end of their contracts will want another, its how they earn their living.
