Roeder to blame ?

Not entirely as no NCFC player came out of the game with any credit. But it didnt help playing a half cock formation with Cureton out of position on the right.

We were overwhelmed in midfield with Ipswich winning practically every second phase ball and their midfield players running through unchallenged. It is worrying that the NCFC edifice comes crashing down because Fozzie , an average midfield players, gets an unexpected injury.

Roeder should have kept the same team formation playing Patterson left side ( he will never be a central midfield player) and bringing in Gibbs into central midfield).

His second obvious mistake was in failing to change the formation when it was clear after about 25 minutes that we were being overrun.

I dont blame Roeder for Pearce and Bertrand freezing on the day but again he should have spotted much earlier that they were struggling and at half time should have brought on Shackell and Camara .
