I think for me where it got on my nerves was
when Gibbs played really well first half against Sheff utd, but because Huckerby was having a poor game, he and Huckerby switch in the second, and both were then having a poor game, then Gibbs was subbed off
On the one hand you have the ageing player who can still produce now and again, and you had the kid naively playing brilliant linking up with the lack of height of Ched and Cureton and creating for us, but because of various factors, accommodation in formation was made to suit Huckerby, who continued to play poor for the rest of the game
Since then Gibbs hasn't played despite it being his best performance so far, and Hux has come back in and played well
Would I prefer Gibbs or Huckerby next season. The answer is a simple one, I'd have Gibbs
