It's a terrible idea doomed to failure

It's borne out of frustration that the club is not signing anyone and have no money for transfers. This is easily disproved by Grant's spending last summer and Roeder's since he took charge. To be successful, the scheme would need to raise many millions and if people had that sort of cash they'd invest it directly in the club.
