Three Spring to mind
The first is Mal Lucas' diving header, c1963 when he flew off the pitch into the River End, as it was then called, railings head first. I think the railings came off worst!
Secondly, again at the River End John Manning knocked the ball into an empty net only for HUgh Curran to intercept and blaze high and wide in an attempt to claim the goal. Curran was our leading scorer and it was the season when he was transferred to Wolves, so c1970
Thirdly involves Colin Prophet, surely one on the worst players to play for Norwich. He was playing left back at the time. He was taking the ball wide of our penalty area, but knocked it too far and as it was going out for a throw in he dived to the ground. There was nobody within 10 yards of him, but the referee still gave us a free kick!
