Spurs away in the Prem Season

I went to the game with my daughter who was only 6.

Midway through the first half. Kanoute had made a run down the right wing and was facing Adam Drury. It was in the corner in front of the Norwich fans. Kanoute tried to beat Drury with a couple of Ronaldo style stepovers. Drury was having none of it and when Kanoute tried again the crowd jeered. When Kanoute tried a third stepover and the attempted cross landed harmlessly behind the goal the crowd started singing.

“What the fxxx-ing hell was that?“ sang the City faithful.

Gemma looked confused as she did not know the words to this new song. “Daddy – what was that song about a canal the crowd were singing?”, she asked curiously
