Looking at it that way, to answer the OP's question, I'm not sure i'd want us to take the gamble they have.
Its one thing to 'gamble' on a player you know will fit in and work getting you up.
Its another to take a larger gamble on a guy to get you up, when it could in fact not work at all. Player doesn't settle, isn't fit, never gets going.
