The Ameobi Deal

I know its not everyone's cup of tea but I have just looked on the My Football Wreiter site abut the Ameobi deal.

I have always felt that Ameobi was just the sort of player our front line was missing but looking at the deal as suggested on the site, there is no way we could or should have been interested.

I suppose Stoke's position (so close to the Prem they can almost smell it) they probably think it is a gamble worth taking but not us. Do you think that we would take the same gamble if the positions were reversed?
