I really don't understand the point of the national team...

Watching England play is less exciting than watching paint dry and has been for as long as I can remember.

At what point did those in charge of the national team forget that football is an entertainment industry?

I don't care when England fail to qualify for major tournaments as it gives me a break from feeling I have to watch them play.

Even in the worst times with Norwich over the last 15 years I have at least had anger to keep me awake during games, with England I just don't care.
