Yes, we should have a referendum

We do not pay politician's to make these decisions, we vote for them to do what they promised to do in their manifesto.

The argument that no-one understands it therefore we shouldn't open up the vote is a ludicrous one. In the run up to any referendum the issues would be laid out far better and far more clearly than anyone has bothered to do so far.

Do I feel qualified to discuss this or make a judgement? Yes. I studied this as part of my Law degree, I've kept up to date with it since. The lack of accountability or public consultation on the EU "project" is a disgrace.

There is a lack of honest information on both sides and the only way for this to be properly debated is for a referendum on the issue to be called.
