there was an interview with Grant shortly before his departure where he was claiming that some club was asking for near £1million for us to loan one of their players, even giving for some exageration of the exact fee involved, i'm sure it wasn't it wasn't being blown up from a starting point of £0
while he may not be able to spend his money the minute he makes it, an extra £250k or £500k could pay a nice signing on fee for some Bosman during the summer, could it not?
