well yes and no. I work in the environmental sector on
landfil sites reducing the impact of Methane emissions. But somewhat ironically Toyota Priuses (Prii?) aren't very good off road and most of the environment which we are trying to protect is off road. You'll find that apart from a few diesel astra vans and the like most people who work in fields have 4x4's. Nearly all of the environment agency vehicles are Modified Land Rover 90's or 110's or Mitsubishi L200's.
