It's not a case of being better than Bertarnd

they are not the same sort of player - Bertrand is a better player defensively than Huckerby and fits well with the one winger system.
There is even a case for Henry to be on the bench instead of Hucks. But to start Gibbs or Henry on the left wing ahead of Hucks appears to be an absurdity.
