The argument that putting in Gibbs rather than Hucks equals short-termism doesn't add up

Everybody knows that Hucks will most likely be on his way at the end of the season - it's actually more likely that Gibbs will be here longer if he impresses.

If Gibbs was keeping out one of *our* young players, then fair enough, I could understand the complaints. But the fact is, our kids aren't good enough, and its not because their path is somehow being blocked by "outsiders". The Jarvis's, Henderson, Martin, etc....they all had their chance, but whether it was attitude or ability, they were not up to the job
