FAO Pants
One thing I need to clear up with you because it annoys me for some reason. You are very strong in your views on managers so can I clarify that you think
(a) It was all Worthy's fault and he was s**te and should have been sacked and the fact we got promoted was because he had money to spend and any monkey could have got us promoted with the same money, and
(b) Grant was a good manager and despite all the money he had to spend he was unlucky because lots of good players (that Worthy bought may I remind you) had to be sold and/or were injured. And...
(c) Roeder has done well but if next season he gets us promoted it will only be because of having money to spend and if we'd given Grant the same money he would have got us promoted....
Or am I way off course here?

- Release clauses (NCFC) - Cannydc, Feb 5, 13:05:49
- And £1.5m was a very high release clause for Etuhu - more than 3x what we paid. (NCFC) - Ottosson Foxtrot, Feb 5, 13:07:58
- The problem about Etuhu, is it was obvious Grant spent the 2nd half of last season (NCFC) - pants, Feb 5, 13:09:19
- earnshaw and etuhu combined. (NCFC) - Alan, Feb 5, 13:13:10

- We wouldn't have got Etuhu or Earnshaw without the release clauses. (n/m) (NCFC) - Ottosson Foxtrot, Feb 5, 13:02:31
- So why punch above our weight spending 3.5m on something (NCFC) - pants, Feb 5, 13:07:28
