i really don't think that it should be structured so that one individual player
gets labelled as "The Kitty Player". The scheme would then hang on the success of that player - if he turned out to be a bad/indifferent buy (always possible) the whole thing would fizzle
Much better (if this is to be done) for the funds just to go into the pot available for transfer fees (and wages)
