I would agree with all of that

and Tiscali are really really bad. You're much safer going for a 1 month deal and then migrating out if it doesn't suit you

TBH it also depends what you use it for, 's**tty' internet is fine for many people. A lot of people I know don't know how fast their connection is, how fast it should be, or what average speed they actually get. If that sounds like you then don't worry too much (just not tiscali or aol)
