Probably just means "per hectare"

I don't know if anyone else does, but at some point I was taught to use a -1 superscript instead of a /

There's a mathematical reason for it which I can't remember

Hence 123 ms-1 rather than 123 m/s

So I assume you're formula looks like 30 kgHa-1
