yes i was told that i made a patronising incorrect statement at the

social services christmans party. Although i don't think it was that bad some people do.
Earlier in the day one of the girls in office had said she is going to Kenya Africa from christmas and flying out tomorrow.
After a few glasses of wine at the party yesterday i asked her in front of others " when are you going ......back to africa ( she's black). The converstation went silent and eveyone sort of twinddled away. A coleague pointed out later what i'd said. think she is going to take it up in the new year.
apparently some were offended, some thought it funny and some just didnt care. It was a slip of tongue and could easily be forgotten but dont think it will be somehow.
