A friend interviewed Robson for a book. He was in a massive strop, sniping at all around him and uncooperative. Then a tv crew came in for a quick piece - and instantly nice uncle Bobby appeared with his folksy twinkling wisdom..before returning just as quickly to his irascible sulk once the cameras had left.
