FAO: Johnny Come Absence Of A Horse
I todally forgot about your torrent help.
It's all about whether you are connectable or not - that is, can peers get through your firewall to make a direct connection with your torrent client. That's where the port forwarding comes in.
I don't use Azureus (I used to, but fell out with it when they slapped that Vuze s**t on top of it, and tried to make it all shiny), so I don't know for definite if there's a "Test my connnection" option like there is in uTorrent, but there ought to be.
Basically you tell it which port to test for connectability, and it tells out whether you have a network address translation problem or not.
So, first thing is to try that. If you can't see that option in the Azureus menus, I might be able to find an online checker, but bear with me.
