The last thing we need at the moment is a takeover

The due dilligence for such a takeover can take up to 3 months. That would mean a long and drawn out process, with all the staff at NCFC nervous as to the outcome. At such a critical time, I could only see something like that compounding our already precarious situation.

If we ended up with a new owner in say Jan/Feb, what will they do, install a new manager, coach, backroom staff, etc? That would be another change for players, when what we need is consistency.

When fans were divided over Worthington, the atmosphere at games was incredibly tense, fans were openly arguing on the terraces and fights broke out. Protesting against the board could create this devisive atmosphere again.

'Sack the board' (itself an oxymoron) is a simple phrase but not a simple process. An attack on the board now would also be an attack on their new choice of manager, when he and the players most need our support.
Roeder has made some good loan sigings, said the right things and for now it is time to stick with him. It isn't just the players who need to be positive and remember what they are capable of.
