Investors
There are 2 kinds of investor in football clubs.
1. The wealthy philanthropist who supports the club and wishes to act as a custodian without really expecting any return on their outlay.
2. Someone who, eventually, wants to make a return on their money.
The former are rarer than hen's teeth (Walker at Blackburn, Gibson at Boro, etc) and the latter are undesirable because if they can't make a profit through the football, they can do it in other ways (e.g. selling the ground).
So when people start moaning that Delia should sell up to someone with "ambition" they should question carefully just what that ambition might be.
