Anyone fancy a debate about David Beckham?

Throughout his England career he was supposedly letting the national team down. He was holding us back and that useless clown Sven kept picking him because of who he was rather than talent. His lack of pace and ability to take players on caused the team to lack any kind of threat. So they said. Why doesn't he pick flair players with pace who can take on their man, people like SWP and Lennon? So they said.

So.........Sven is sacked, Beckham is dropped altogether, and all those things I read people wanted to see happened. We now have SWP terrorising defences. The team now looks frightening on the attack. I just couldn't contain my excitement yesterday watching SWP running at (albeit straight into) his defenders.

What's also great is his ability once he has beaten his man (...) to put in a quality cross. Never before have England created so many goal kicks and throw ins for the opposition.

Sven was s**t they said, but atleast we qualified for major tournaments.
