Because we are all clamouring for new investment - for businessmen to come into the club... for the Turners to show their hand and be the saviour we want. I bet they run it like a business.

As do the Glazers, the Yanks at Liverpool, etc etc.

Only nutters like Stanley at Newcastle (alledgedly a fan) and people like Jack Walker, Mo Fayed etc do it for the love. Abramovich as well of course.

Business people = the money
Football people = no money.

I personally think Delia and MWJ are as close as a hybrid to the two types of people above that we're ever likely to get - I bet a businessman wouldnt give a no catches loan just to buy a player to help out the team (Robinson), and then not call it in when it goes wrong...
