How was our squad worth £3.5 mill ?

I can't believe that our squad was worth £3.5 mill at the end of the season.

And was Hughes who was also on the books, (reportedly sold in August for £250k) retrospectively included in the valuation? That's the strangest one imo, and a question worth asking at the AGM.

In comparison to Hughes, we paid Robinson to go, and his payoff will have will have been included in the “blob” of cash for players wages. A strange comparison for two players who were equally as incompetent as each other. I cannot believe the transfers were so different, ie one paid to go and other we got a fee for.

Hughes was rumoured to be on a big old wedge and we got a fee from Leeds, who were financially up s**t creek without a paddle. This leads me to believe (and this is only my supposition) is that the fee we received for Hughes was either paid back to him as a signing on fee or used to pay his wages to the end of his NCFC contract which would have expired at the end of this season. I presume his Leeds contract would not have been as well paid as his NCFC deal.

Of course this may be bollox, and I’m not expert on these things, but it would be good to know why the two deals were completely different.
