Have to agree with Scrimmage here....

Crook has NEVER managed a football club full stop.

He's been a coach and an assistant manager, that's it.

Brian Kidd was a quality coach at Man Utd for years but was crap when he tried turning to management, but at least he'd been watching one of the best in the business for years.

The Australian league is crap. What standard would their teams be at if directly compared to the English League? I have no idea but I would bet League One/Bottom half of Champ at best.

He's been over there for years, his knowledge of players over here can NOT possibly be that strong as surely if he'd been looking anywhere for players he'd have been looking for those potentially interested in joining his Aussie club.

If he is manager then I see our current spiral continuing and as much as an optimist as I am, I can not see us staying in this league if ANOTHER inexperienced manager is brought in.
