he had major problems when he came here............

he had a small squad that also had a lot of dead wood which he did a good job of clearing out.

That left him with very few players in the squad.
Add to that Safri, Etuhu and Earnie all wanting away he way left with very few players.
So he was forced to bring in a LOT of players rather than fewer player with maybe a little bit more quality.

I do think he did a good job on the transfer front.

Thats part of his downfall, this squad has the ability and quality to hold its own in this division, if not challenge for a playoff spot.

Tactically he has been poor in spots and his man management skills have been very poor.
Its obvious he has lost part if not all the dressing room.

What did we expect from a first time manager?

After Worthy he was always going to be on a shorter rope.

My feeling is after Worthy we should have recruited a more experienced manager who has already made a lot of mistakes.
