Sorry I don't buy that

The fans that are booing.criticising the boar are not doing so beacuse as consumares they are being starved of entertainment.

Part of being a supporter or a fan is wanting your team to succeed and achieve as much as it can. Sometimes if it becomes clear that is not happening or likely to happen with a manager or board of directors then in my view as a supporter you do what it takes to bring about the changes that make it more likely to happen. Sometimes booing or chanting critically is the only way to get the message accross that we are not happy. Without that messgae being put accross loud and clear our directors often sit in their little bubble thinking everything is hunky dorey when its not.

So rather than sit their merrily clapping a load of cr*p week in week out I would submit that it is every real supporters duty to make the board aware when performance is not acceptable, whether that eb through booing, emails, letters or whatever.

I do hwoever agree that fans should get behind the team during matches whereever possible and I think that happens. I have not been at a match whe the team has been booed unnecessarily early and even on saturday there was still a conscious effort to raise the team even towards the end.
