I'm worried that Hucks is effectively finished as a positive force

the fact is that if he isn't fully fit his performances aren't of sufficient standard to justify the tactical problems he still (after several years) poses us. We looked a better team before he came back.
Since Hucks does no defensive work the only way to accommodate him in a 4-4-2 is as one of the front 2. We saw the rather sterile effects of that on Tuesday (in practice it necessitates dropping Cureton, our biggest goal threat). If you play Hucks plus 2 strikers it is effectively 4-3-3, which is a horrible system that justs asks to be overrun in midfield, especially away from home. Which is what happened on Saturday.
The team formation is being f***ed up to suit Hucks so if he doesn't perform (and he hasn't so far) it all goes pear-shaped he is the very last person in the squad who should be moaning.
He is a legend and he shouldn't spoil it now in probably his last season by acting like a selfish tw*t. It is a team game and we need them all to stick together.
