We had a brillers time there in March.

We stayed on the Sinai peninsula, so didn't see any of the cool pyramids, Spink and mummy stuff, but had a good time regardless. (and also, as we didn't leave the peninsula, we didn't need to buy a visa).

Those at the hotel that did take the day-trip to Cairo to see all that stuff said they had never been so thoroughly underwhelmed in thier lives - not that all the mummy, spink and pyramids stuff isn't cool as f**k, it's just that every c**t in the world is there too, and 99.9% of them are trying to sell you tat.
