I couldn't decide...

if it was meant to be dryer or drier.

Personally I thought it really odd that at least 3 companies advised me against getting a washer drier/dryer when their whole purpose is to sell the damn things and I made it clear to them that my kitchen was too small to buy both so they weren't trying to double their money by getting me to buy two products instead of one.

They must have a lot of problems with them.
