May I point out that there is a difference between "a risk" and "a gamble" insofar as; a risk is an event over which the risk taker has a varying degree of influence over the outcome. A gamble, on the other hand, is an event in which the gambler has absolutely no influence at all (unless he or she is breaking the law of course).
Just thought I'd clarify that for you as it seems you are using some of my money.
