How many games will it take for our players to gel then? What exactly is pre-season for?!

I think the real problem is that the midfield lacks creativity and ideas going forward when Hucks is missing as the players in midfield are not naturally creative or flair players - they're workers and grafters with limited pace. Hence we end up playing the early ball up to Brown, who has a bugger of a job winning it in the first place, holding it, and laying it off.

We won't improve unless:

1. We get very good at setpices; or
2. Play more creative midfielders.
