stop making excuses!

This point was mentioned further down the board. How long does it take for seasoned championship standard players to find their feet and gel playing in the, erm, Championship? Come on, these guys should be gelling by now, they've played 6 games already. A professional player used to this standard should be able to successfully compete at this level with minimal familarity with his team mates. And most of the players playing today were with Norwich last season, excepting Brellier, Ostembor and Cureton. Three new players - hardly a completely new team.

Look at Man City - completely new team (more new players than us and many of them have never played in English football before) and they're flying in the Premiership. We must stop making excuses for our players and start to face reality.
