I would say it is important to have this to keep the club afloat,
but without an extra source of income (Walker, Glazer, Sullivan, Jordan, Abramovich, Wigan, Derby, Sunderland... etc...etc...)
It is increasingly that kind of funding that gets teams out of the also rans, rather than a massive gates. Sheff Wed are one team that ghet close to us in terms of supprt, but onyl recently have they had extra funding, and as a result, they are now moving up the pecking order.
