We were after Parkin and Taylor before we sold Jonson and Helveg...

If we'd have brought them for the amount we wanted, I suspect close-to the ?1m mark for Taylor and around ?600k for Parkin...

So, if you add the money we had - to the money we gained from Jonson and Helveg thats around ?2.5 million already.

We wouldn't have just brought a striker and a defender either, especially since we have released so many midfielders.

Add to that the parachute payments, and we "budgeted for bottom place", but finished ?500k richer than we budgeted for...
