If the argument

is that we can all take the piss of Christianity or rubbish it because there are examples of paedophiles abusing positions of trust in the church, then we can make lots of other sweeping generalisations and stereotypical comments as well.

Fact is, paedophiles take up positions to get close to children - priests, teachers, scout masters etc. So by this argument we can say that teaching and scouting are riddled with nonces and highly dubious because some paedophiles commit crimes while in those professions.

I'd much rather posters going down the route of "Christian of the day" with links to sex abuse cases would come clean and say that they hate religions full stop - generalisations are not debate, just prejudice.
