On the face of it TH - it does seem madness...
but i'm not sure it is all that bad a pice of business. After all, we were clamouring for a 37 year old Dion Dublin to sign for us again, not just because he was ok, but because he was an integral part of the team.
I tend to wince at anyone we are linked with over 30, but nowadays IMHO it just isnt such a big problem. Time, I guess, will tell. If he scores us the goals to get us to the playoffs, then he is paid for.
For me, it's less the age, more the potential to be a 'one season wonder'...

- I agree it might not turn out to be a bad signing. (NCFC) - Tricky Hawes, Jul 4, 20:17:35
