it's only mid-June FFS

we've signed one player already. How many Championship teams have signed more than that?

And don't try comparing us with any of the relegated clubs, because we can't compete. They get £11.5m in parachute payment and will doubtless get more from selling some of their better players to Prem clubs. So they can afford to make big initial bids (and terms to players) to complete deals quickly. We don't have the money to do that - we HAVE to be careful and try to maximise the value we get for what limited funds we have. Do you REALLY think the club aren't doing all they can to get players in???

Your problem (like most of your witless ilk) is that you don't offer any positive suggestions - you just shout "sign some players" as though it was as easy as that. Wake up - it isn't!

Money talks and the fact is we don't have it. The 2 auto promoted teams and losing playoff finalists last season were the 3 relegated clubs plus the division's biggest net spenders. Even making the playoffs this year will be a fantastic achievement against the odds. If you're just a glory hunter who can't handle that reality then sod off. But you only hinder the club's chances by creating an endless atmosphere of criticism and unrealistic demands.

WHO do you think should we be signing and how much should we be paying for them (don't forget that their club will be doing their utmost to find someone who will offer them a bigger fee, while the player's agent will be doing their utmost to find soemone offering higher wages. So neither party are likely to want to rush into a deal in June before exhausting their options (unless you offer silly money, as clubs like Charlton are in a position to do)
