Coincidence?

As I understand it the problems at Athens were caused initially by ticketless fans gaining access to the ground. That wasn't a factor at Hillsborough - and I never heard of it being a factor at Heysel.
What is true is that Taylor recognised that ticketless fans gaining access to grounds had been generally a problem - and he made it clear that ticketless fans should not be granted access and that policy should be crystal clear. 17 years on that clearly isn't the case in Europe - I heard Liverpool fans bragging about their total confidence that they would get in, and I've heard it before England games too - so it isn't exclusively a Liverpool problem.
