What a shame !!! Liverpool used to win the League and European cup with a squad of around 20 - used around 15 or 16 generally , most of whom were internationals as well

I understand that the game is faster now , but Milan had the majority of the players in the World Cup and started at the Preliminary round of the Champions League - so have played regularly through the season - okay so the points deduction they had meant they never seriously challenged for the title , but they are still sitting well up in Serie A

I just think Man Utd were set up wrongly - it is one thing trying to impose yourselves on a game , but you do have to consider the opponents strengths and I think they failed to do that - perhaps the 7 -1 versus Roma blinded them and made them all think they could stroll it
