I really enjoy these games between the top clubs. It's footbally played at a totally different level from NCFC. I love watching City for reasons which I can't really pin down - probably some basic tribal instinct which has been sublimated into football - but watching Man U, or Chelsea, or Milan, or Barca etc etc is a pleasurable experience because of the sheer scale of the talent on display.
Fergie and Mourinho were both right in their post match comments - their players are knackered from chasing success on too many fronts. You could see how much fresher Pool and Milan were.
