Kingdom
Watched it last night - it's apparently so bad they've already relegated it to Hallmark - but I was shocked at the blubbing about the Norfolk accents.
OK, a couple were a bit Cornish, and one or two others did OK until they got excited when it went a bit Pam Ayres. However, I thought that, although they were obviously not natural, they really had made a decent attempt, especially with the replacement of "O" with "ew" sounds.
And the girl who ended up going back to Cambridge University was actually really good.
One of them even said "squit" !
The one thing I think they paid insufficient attention to was the Norfolk grammar - even the girl who did the accent really well forgot that in Norfolk nobody with a strong accent says "he does". It's I do, he do, she do, they do, you do, etc :-)
