No guarantee that he wouldn't have gone in for Huckerby when he became available even if we'd signed one of those other players.

He was obsessed with rebuilding that Forest team that tanked us 4-0, after all.

Worthington had very obvious limitations, of course, but to basically deny him any credit for 2003/4 and (particularly) 2001/2 seems myopic and unfair to me.
