No more so than they are already

Through utter saturation of nagging pop-ups. All they've done is make clicking "OK" a reflex action, so that when things actually do go wrong they can say "Well, we warned you and you said yes...". Not only that, they've made an Admin account non-admin. Who wants to be bugged about what you're doing every 5 seconds when you know what you're doing?

Honestly, with a properly set-up and maintained security system of Firewall, Anti-Virus and anti-spyware, I've not had any problems with XP. The massive, massive f**kup with Vista was their initial approach of taking that control away from people. All that meant was that hackers had one nice big juicy target to aim for, one single system to crack. Luckily, Microsoft have been forced into backing down on that.

As usual though, the biggest problem is the thing on the other end of the keyboard; so many people simply don't do the basics and then wonder why, in this age of broadband, that things go wrong.
