I've seen him (on TV) perform cold reading on a group of people, convince them he was in touch with The Other Side, and then when he sat them down and said, "actually you know what, I wasn't in fact in touch with dear dead Auntie Bessie, I was using a collection of psychological tricks to fool you" they flat didn't believe him..
