Surely a "good squad player"
Should be able to push the incumbent all the way and take over seamlessly at any time? I'm not sure I'd put Hughes in that bracket at all, particularly as he is supposed to be a central midfielder.
Given his eye-watering wages, I would think he'll be second out the door come summer.
