Earnie sticks chances away. He's one of those weird players who doesn't seem to be any good at football, and yet scores goals by the bucketload. So even though he was playing without any discernable midfield, he was still the Championship's top scorer when he got injured.

We have improved through Grant's signings and prunings (bye bye Bobinson) since then. But Sex Tape has not set the world alight and Hucks is a provider as much as a scorer (unlike Earnie). If Martin hadn't turned out to be s**t hot (and how lucky was that?) I don't know where the goals would have been coming from. Certainly not Uncle Peter. or Jarvis, or Hendo, and probably not Sex Tape.
