A lot more is known about it now though. Was the same years ago with

my brother. Was concussed about 4 times and only kept in once overnight.

Normally different now. If it's only judged as mild (as in no amnesia, "skullcap" feeling, only mild nausia and dizziness, etc) then they will release you if you have someone to wake you up every few hrs. Normally if there has been any loss of consciousness then they keep people in.

As I say, I'm not an expert but I have had training in dealing with head injuries, live with a doctor, and see 3 or 4 concussions a year.

I had one myself but didn't bother going to hospital. That was before I did the course about it. These days I would.

But of course, the change in dealing with it could also be the threat of being sued.
